At MurGoo, we believe in complete privacy and absolute user autonomy. This Privacy Policy outlines how the MurGoo Screen Watermark application manages your device parameters and local configuration states.
1. Age Restriction & Children's Privacy
The Software is strictly intended for use by individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (adults only). We do not knowingly compile, request, or maintain local information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age, you are ineligible and prohibited from using the Software or accessing our documentation sites, and you must cease usage and uninstall the app immediately.
2. Zero Personal Data Collection
The MurGoo Screen Watermark application is built to run entirely locally and offline on your device:
- We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).
- We do not use any external analytical platforms, crash tracking utilities, or behavioral advertising SDKs.
- We do not have access to your watermark texts, loaded custom background images, or system logging metrics.
3. Permissive Device Requirements
To deliver advanced screen branding overlays and dynamic display features, the application requests several native Android permissions:
- System Overlay Permission (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required purely to draw the customizable text and image overlays consistently on top of other active app windows.
- App Rules Detection (Accessibility or Package Query): Used solely to check if selected package names are currently visible on screen to dynamically toggle layouts.
- Storage Access (Media / Document Picker): Accessed only when you proactively choose to import design configuration JSON presets or load custom brand watermark logo images.
4. Safe Config Preservation
All styling definitions, customized layout values, motion variables, and app rule boundaries are saved locally within a local on-device Room Database. Standard preset file backups exported as JSON remain fully on your local storage space, entirely under your control.
5. Policy Updates
Since the application processes everything offline, no remote policy notifications are issued. You may check this document periodically for any structural modifications.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Any disputes or claims arising out of or related to this Privacy Policy or your data practices under the Software shall be governed exclusively by the laws of India and are subject to the sole jurisdiction of the competent courts of Panaji, Goa, India.
